My name is Monifa Kincaid and I'm a sewist, multidisciplinary artist, and passionate educator who believes that learning to sew is one of the most rewarding creative journeys you can embark on. After years in arts education, dance, and creative programming, I've discovered that sewing combines everything I love: creativity, mindfulness, practical skills, and the pure joy of making something beautiful with your own hands.
This journey is just as much about my own growth as it is about sharing with you. Every day, I'm learning something new, experimenting with techniques, and falling deeper in love with the art of sewing.
